Stay safe — avoid scams
- Meet in a busy public place and inspect the item first.
- Never send deposits, money transfers or gift cards before seeing the item.
- Be wary of prices that seem too good, or sellers who are "out of the country".
- For property and vehicles, verify papers and ownership before paying.
